2011-2012 FIQ Program Schedule
June 4th – Get-R-Done Pot Luck and Silent Auction
Announcing the year to “Get-R-Done”…there will be contracts available for you to fill out with the emphasis on cleaning out those old projects and UFO’s you have in the back of your closets. The rules are: 1) State the projects (as many as you would like to see cleaned out and finished!) on the contract. a. This project does not have to be a quilt; it can be felting, scrap-booking, needlework, knitting or any type of project you want to finish. 2) Then at the June meeting, bring the finished project and/or a picture of the finished project (make sure you take a picture of the label) to be displayed as proof that you completed the project. a. Finished means: quilted, bound, framed, knots tied and woven in and a label! Depending on the type of project you finish, any or all of those may apply. 3) If you do not finish the project(s) listed on your contract…you agree to forfeit the item(s) and they will be silent auctioned off at the meeting with the proceeds to given to Comfort Quilts to buy supplies.
