Community Quilts work sessions are now held at the Cottage Hobby House at 1220 12th Street (at M Avenue), Anacortes at 10am on the 3rd Monday each month.
February 2012 Update
COMMUNITY SERVICE: Thirty quilts were delivered to the shelter in Mt. Vernon. They continue to need quilts from FIQ – just more frequent deliveries and smaller amounts.
DONATIONS TO COMMUNITY QUILTS: We love to receive donations of fabrics from our members, former members and others in the community. However, please remember that we need 100 % cotton fabric child appropriate (either boy or girl).
BABY QUILTS: Don’t forget the Soroptomist baby shower in March. We are collecting baby quilts (crib size) and will be making an FIQ delivery to them for their Baby Shower. Need your quilts no later than the March meeting.
Next work day: Monday February 20. Yes, I know it’s a holiday but we will be at Cottage Hobby House creating more quilts.
