An Appeal ……..
As you may know, this project gives a Quilt of Comfort to military personnel, wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan, and recovering at Madigan Army Hospital. We have been enjoying the ability to send tops that are finished by volunteer long arm quilters. The demand has been so great for so long that they are falling behind. Are there any quilters willing to quilt some of the tops we have on hand for our wounded sons and daughters?  For more info…

Congratulations to Sharyn Mellors, FIQ member and Coupeville area quilter who has been selected as a semi-finalist for the 2011 AQS Quilt show and contest, April 27-30, 2011, at the Paducah Expo Center in Paducah, Kentucky. Sharyn has been chosen to display her quilt, “The Announcement” along with 389 others in the annual contest.. Click here to see her quilt.
