Raffle Quilt 2012 – “Oh My Stars”
Designed to showcase quilting the “Oh My Stars!” 2012 raffle quilt measures 104 inches by 104 inches. The quilt was designed on EQ7 and assembled by Colleen Kenimond and Marilyn Sollers. Members of FIQ made the blocks. Each feather star block has 153 pieces and there are a total of 2,561 pieces in the quilt top. Gretchen Monti of Quilted Keepsakes did the quilting. The raffle quilt winner will be drawn during the FIQ meeting September 10, 2012. Raffle Tickets $1. Donations go toward the purchase of fabrics to make quilts for women and children in the Skagit County Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse Shelter in Mt. Vernon.
